Coherent Europe for Sustainable Development

Project Coherent Europe for Sustainable Development which is carried out by the platforms of NGOs in 9 EU countries. The project reacts to the need of efficient implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aims to include Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development principle (PCSD) to the process.

The overall objective of this project is to increase involvement of policy-makers in promoting coherent policies for achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to strengthen the critical understanding of key actors on the global interdependencies and their engagement.

The project is coordinated by NAZEMI (Czech Republic) and implemented together with the partners - AKU (Estonia), BOND (UK), CNCD (Belgium), FOND (Romania), Grupa Zagranica (Poland), HAND (Hungary), MVRO (Slovakia), SLOGA (Slovenia).

The main thematic priorities will focus on thematic priorities and horizontal issues such as:

  • Poverty eradication (SDG1),
  • Decent work (SDG 8),
  • Sustainable consumption and production (SDG 12),
  • Climate change responses (SDG 13),
  • Good governance and human rights based approach (SDG 16),
  • Gender equality (SDG 5),
  • Means of implementation (SDG 17).
