Global Education Working Group, affiliated to Zagranica Group, started the process of peer review among Polish NGOs involved in global education. This kind of joint process is the first in Poland, and unique on a European scale. The aim of the peer review is to initiate the discussion about the quality of global education in Poland. The non-governmental organizations and the institutions engaged in global education take part in the peer review either as authors, presenting their publications or activities (such as campaigns, actions addressed to schools or competitions for the best GE project) to be evaluated, or they will participate as the commentators. During the meetings and the discussions about the materials and/or activities, 10 teams will try to search for those aspects which are worth promoting among others and also to identify the elements, that do not meet the quality criteria. Participants will also discuss the possible recommendations for changes, that would improve the quality of the publication or an activity – those recommendations will enable mutual learning and sharing of good practices between the organizations and institutions. About 20 NGOs and institutions (40 persons) dealing with GE will participate in this process. The final outcomes of the peer review will be presented during the seminar dedicated to quality of GE in the middle of April 2012.
